This economical cutter quickly opens any size oil filter canister for filter inspection. Simply place the filter in a vice, attach the tool to the top, and rotate about 4 or 6 turns to cleanly cut open the canister. It’s made of high quality 6061 aluminium with an attractive purple anodised finish. The cutting wheel stays sharp for up to 45 applications, and is easily replaced when it becomes dull. Comes ready to handle any oil filter with a female thread, with an adaptor to handle filters with a male thread included.
