American type caps for welding on to aluminium tanks, kits are complete with bayonet type non-vented cap and gasket. The cap is attached to the neck with a safety chain. Neck is externally threaded to mate with the weldable aluminium flange. Dimension details are neck i.d. 1-½”, neck length 1-3/8”, weldable flange 2-1/4” diameter. These caps have a seal that is only suitable for AVGAS, the AVGAS seal will swell up and distort with MOGAS. When using MOGAS make sure you order and install our inert VITON seal LAS2651.
