A range of metric, zinc plated, all steel self locking nuts. Designed to stay in position on screws under conditions of severe vibration. This is achieved by cantilevered threaded arms which are deflected downwards and inwards. When a screw passes through the nut the arms are forced back causing them to grip on the threads. When assembled on the screw at least two threads should protrude through the nut
