The 4002 Camloc fasteners are of a heavier build than the 2600 series and they should be retained in the outer panel by a grommet which in thicker gauge panels may entail counter-boring the back to enable the snap ring to be installed.

To order a 4002 Camloc first select the grommet and retaining ring, for example 4002-G and RG4. Next select the receptacle, e.g. 214-16. Next determine the total panel thickness (e.g. 0.21”) to be fastened and finally use the sizing chart to determine the correct stud dash number, for the example given this would be -6.
