772B MK6A Turner Inflation Adaptor
The MK 6A inflation adaptor is used in conjunction with a pressure gauge when inflating, deflating or checking the nitrogen pressure in nitrogen components such as oleo legs which are fitted with non-return inflation valves with 1/4" BSP or 5/16" x 32 tpi connnections, or components fitted with Schrader inflation valves. The adaptor must not be used with any other system, pneumatic or hydraulic. Maximum operating pressure 4,500 psi.
The pressure gauge, which can be rotated through 360°, is separate from the spindle actuation which is lever-operated and spring-return. There is no load on the spindle except when required to open the charging valve.
The Turner inflation adaptor illustrated consists of a bronze body with provision for a pressure gauge, charging connection, release knob and a lever to operate a spindle which opens the charging valve. The pressure gauge is supplied separately and is calibrated in one of the ranges listed.
The Mk 6A Inflation Adaptor Kit is comprised of Adaptor Body Assy 772B 35608, Angled adaptor 55° 1/4" BSP thread 772C-34867 and angled Schrader Adaptor 55° 5/16" x 32 TPI 772C-35555.
This kit can only be used with its own body and angled adaptors.
