AE102 Fire Resistant Sleeve

Aeroquip Firesleeve was specially developed to meet the fire resistance requirements of FAATSO - C53a OR TSO - C75. May be used for all fuel, oil, hydraulic, fire extinguisher & propeller feathering lines.

“Fire-proof” hose lines as defined by FAA must withstand a direct flame for fifteen minutes under specified flow conditions without failure. “Fire resistant” lines must withstand a 5-minute exposure under these conditions. “Fire-proof” hose lines are obtained when the proper size Aeroquip Firesleeve is selected from the chart below and properly assembled.

The dash number denotes the inside diameter in 1/16”, we do suggest that you use the next size up to ensure easy installation.

Sold by the foot, we can cut to exact lengths but you will be charged to the next whole foot.

The core of this sleeve is a fire resistant glass fibre, to prevent wicking the ends should be dipped in Aeroquip “end dip” solution. However, this is expensive so we can do this for you at a charge of £2.75 per piece.
