Problems, Returns & Shortages
At LAS we take pride in our customer service and we aim to treat our customers better than anybody else in the industry!
Regardless of fault before you return any item please contact us. Many problems can be resolved over the phone or via email, but if not we will provide you with a returns form. This form need's to be filled out before an item can be returned. Once filled out and approved by our purchasing team we will then issue you a returns number. Items received without a form being issued or a returns number may not be accepted for refund / replacement.
Our Error and Faulty / Damaged Parts
We must be notified of any discrepancies, shortages, faulty parts or damage to goods within 7 days of receipt of the order. We will do everything possible to resolve the problem and ensure that you receive replacement items as quickly as possible.
In the event of you having to send parts back due to our error then we will refund you for any carriage costs incurred or arrange for collection by our courier.
Your Error
We offer a 7 day “no quibbles” refund policy. Simply notify us about which items you wish to return within 7 days of receipt of your order (a phone call or email is fine so we can give you a returns number) and we will give you a full refund for those items. All items must be returned to us in as supplied unused condition at your expense within a further 7 days.
After 7 days but within 30 days we will still accept returns for unwanted items but they will be subject to a 10% re-stocking fee (minimum £2). If the value of the goods is less than £2 then no refund will be given.
Special Order Items
Unless our error or the parts are faulty, we cannot accept returns for special order items. This includes non-stock items which have been ordered in for you or specially cut items such as hose, cable and fabric etc. Please note this includes non-stock items purchased form Aircraft Spruce.
Warranty Returns
We will replace items that fail under warranty but we MUST receive the manufacturer’s warranty forms that would have been supplied with the goods, please ensure you keep these in a safe place!
The warranty period is from the time of sale not installation, so please bear this in mind when purchasing instruments; we recommend you do not buy them unless the aircraft is near being ready to fly.
Please Note
We understand that there are always exceptions to the rule and we will deal with these cases on their merit. However please note there is a final time limit of 90 days from the date of sale, after which we cannot accept any item back for credit unless under warranty.
Finally please note that all details, data and specifications given on this website and in our catalogue are checked and believed to be correct; however you should not rely on the information and should always double check with an approved manual.
We regret that we cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions.

We offer worldwide delivery via Parcelforce, DHL, UPS, FedEx or we can have the parts packed and ready for collection via your dedicated Freight company.
Orders placed on the website before 4pm Monday to Thursday and on Fridays 3pm - will leave the same day. This applies to all orders going via a courier, not orders via Royal Mail.
This is for UK mainland only, must be a Courier overnight service. This is for parts that are stocked in the main warehouse in Okehampton only. Some restrictions may apply for some product ranges e.g.; Paint, Ali sheet, Windshields etc – please ring for more information.

Prices
Many of our prices on the website are fixed prices but be aware that some prices are not fixed and are subject to change. In particular products that are imported from the United States as prices do fluctuate with currency rates or when items go out of stock and we then find prices have increased from Manufacture/Supplier – this is out of our control, but we will always advise you of any price changes.
Cancelling orders
If you wish to cancel goods on order with LAS, you must now complete the LAS Cancelation form and return to LAS for authorisation.
Forms must be completed and returned to LAS as soon as possible, to allow LAS to contact suppliers.
In some circumstances, where goods are specially ordered in for customers, our suppliers may impose restocking fees. LAS are not liable for these fees and said fees will be passed on to the cancelling party.
Until the form is signed and authorised by both parties, goods are to be treated as noncancelled and still payable.
