Fuel / Water Separator Funnel

Introduced back in 1985 at the EAA Sun ‘n’ Fun fly in, this funnel is an excellent tool for separating fuel from water and solids. When fuel is poured into the funnel, fuel passes through the element while water and solids are separated out and collected in the sump. The water separator strainer element utilizes a special thermoplastic coated stainless steel base with a high flow mesh separator membrane that has an affinity for fuel but repels water. Recommended for checking gasoline, diesel, heating oil and turbine fuels for water and solid contaminants before use. The small funnel is recommended for use when pouring from cans, the large from most fuel pumps.
