EngineGuard Vapour Oil

EngineGuard Aero is the complete and economical way to protect the inside of engines, gearboxes and steel fuel tanks. Unlike ordinary preservative oils where surfaces have to be coated, EngineGuard Aero has only to be present in a closed system for the vapour to be effective. The complex formulation of powerful vapour phase and contact corrosion inhibitors is carried in a highly refined mineral oil, making it compatible with mineral and semi-synthetic oils, petrol and diesel fuel.
EngineGuard Aero provides valuable and low cost protection for engines which are used intermittently.

It is economical as well as effective because a little goes a long way. EngineGuard Aero should be replaced only when the oil is changed.

The effectiveness of the vapour-phase corrosion inhibitor has been comprehensively tested. It is both fast acting and long lasting, whether the engine is run or not.

For the majority of light aircraft engines, add approx. 100 to 125ml to the sump. For long-term storage, where possible, block off breather pipes and exhaust/inlet ports and insert a rag dampened with EngineGuard Aero into each exhaust and inlet port. Close with purpose made blanking plugs or poly bags. It is not essential for the system to be 100% sealed for EngineGuard Aero to give protection.
