ACS Homebuilders Gascolator
An all metal gascolator with screen for use on homebuilt and experimental aircraft. Supplied complete with cadmium plated steel bowl and Curtis drain valve (CCA1550). Top casting has two 1/4” pipe ports for 3/8” fuel line (takes AN816-6D for aluminium pipe or AN840-6D for push-on hose) plus one 1/8” pipe port for primer (if primer is not required fit one AN913-1D plug). Total weight of gascolator is approximately 8 oz.
If you are using 1/4” aluminium tubing use either straight AN816-4-4D or elbow AN822-4-4D, for 5/16” tube use either straight AN816-5-4D or elbow AN822-5-4D, for all these you will of course need AN818 nuts and AN819 sleeves. To ease installation we can also supply a versatile bracket manufactured of .016” stainless steel, the bracket can be installed in two positions depending on where the inlet and outlet connections are to be made.
This gascolator is now supplied as standard with a viton seal which is compatiable with both MOGAS and AVGAS.
